What is a Fresh Food Box?

Each box comes with 10-12 varieties of top-quality fruits and vegetables that are sourced as locally and seasonally as possible. Recipe cards (in English & Spanish) are included with each order to introduce simple and easy ways to use produce in the box. The retail value of each box is $30+.

Fresh food boxes cost $20 cash/credit/debit* for low-moderate income families or $5 SNAP/EBT. For individuals that want to support the program while also receiving a box, there are options to include donations to a box order!

*Note – as of 2023, FoodShare box contents have increased in quantity and variety and, as a result, the boxes now cost $20 for credit/debit customers. SNAP boxes will remain at $5 thanks to the South Carolina Healthy Bucks program.
