ABOUT FOODSHARE GREENVILLE

FoodShare Greenville is Mill Village Farms’ fresh food program in partnership with FoodShareSC. We are in a network of FoodShare Hubs, headquartered in Columbia SC. Many communities in South Carolina do not have access or financial resources to eat healthy on a daily basis. Without healthy options, health risk increases! Bringing fresh produce into our communities is a form of food equity and is part of our mission.

We are a produce distribution program on a mission to make it easier for EVERYONE in Greenville County to have increased access to healthy eating through AFFORDABLE, TOP QUALITY, HEALTHY FRUITS AND VEGETABLES - regardless of their income or where they live.

The fresh food boxes are ordered online according to our order calendar and paid for in advance. Box pick up is every other week (twice a month) through our partner site locations across Greenville County. Some pick up locations have different pick up days. Any box not picked up on distribution date will be donated.

WHAT’S IN THE FRESH FOOD BOX?

Fresh Food Boxes are filled with 9 to 11 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables. With the contents changing bi-weekly, it’s an affordable and exciting way to eat healthy food.

Our Fresh Food Box is available at a cost which allows anyone to buy a box. You pay for your produce, giving you the power and dignity to control your own food needs. Each box contains unique recipes, tips, and nutrition notes to give you the encouragement to expand your food knowledge, cook new things, and eat healthier. Recipe cards (in English & Spanish) are included with each order to introduce simple and easy ways to use produce in the box.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

$5 for SNAP/EBT card

$20 for Credit/Debit Card

$25 Market Rate *

* For individuals who want to support the program while also receiving a box, you can pay $25 Market Rate with Credit/Debit card.

NEW SNAP/EBT Customers: Before you can pay online, you must register as a customer and request your account.

*SNAP Customers qualify for FREE home delivery of FoodShare boxes on Tuesdays.

WHEN DO I ORDER AND PICK UP?

The fresh food boxes are ordered online according to our order calendar and paid for in advance. Orders are due by 4:00PM on the deadline day.

Box pick up is every other week (twice a month) through our partner site locations across Greenville County. Some pick up locations have different pick up days. Any box not picked up on distribution date will be donated.

Please fill out this form if you want to change your pick up location. You must request the change before the upcoming deadline (see order deadline calendar below). *Please note that the form to request to change locations is NOT an order form. You will still need to place your order for your box before the order deadline.
