Microgreen Farm to Table

Microgreen Farm to Table

Our project is to produce and harvest MircoGreens from our indoor growing system; designed, built and taken care of by our very own Mill Village Youth. Our product will include a variety of MircoGreens such as, watercress and spicy mustard, that are grown locally and organic to Greenville restaurant owners. We believe that our product will improve the quality of our community by providing fresh and tasty greens to the menus of our favorites restaurants.

Market Bag Team We will be creating a reusable grocery bag to be sold and used at the Mill Village Market and Mobile Market. This environmentally friendly, durable bag will be sold beginning in August. We have been working with OOBE to create a design for the bag that will feature produce grown on Mill Village's four local farms. We would appreciate your support as we work to create this unique grocery bag! Donate Here

Apparel Team Your donation will allow our team to purchase supplies, test our product, and print the first order of aprons this Summer. We hope our aprons will encourage buyers to cook and eat healthy foods and that our design will help spread the word about Mill Village Farms and our youth job program. Donate Here

Building a community one repair at a time.  Our mission for this group is to bring the community together around a simple bike stand. This bike stand will allow the community members with bikes that needed repair to repair their bike for free. It will also have a small instruction manual to show the people how to repair the problem they have with their bikes. This bike stand will be equipped with a place to hold your bike, tools to repair it, and  a bike pump. The tools on this stand will be the most used tools for common bike problems. We will also bolt the stand to the ground and attach a wire to all the tools long enough to reach all the parts of any sized bike this will also prevent people trying to take the tools or bike stand. Our fundraising goal is $200 Donate Here

Fitness Challenge Team Our entrepreneurship project is a workout challenge between the corporations of ScanSource and Synnex. The challenge is trying to help the employees of those companies become more active throughout the day. We are looking at the big picture by trying to help people stay healthy in the future as well as in the present. We are helping contribute to this by giving the participants challenges that they can perform to receive bonus points. Those bonus points go towards the reward at the end of the challenge. As far as costs and profits go, our challenge is free, but we would like a small donation of 50 dollars. That money could help with the printing cost and rewards for the winners of the challenge. #rewardyourselfwithhealth
